Intensives provides a pathway for couples to address negative communication patterns and/or relational issues that have left both partners feeling stuck, worried there is no way forward.
Intensive sessions are personalized to meet your specific needs and pacing.
Intensives are two days, typically scheduled on Thursdays, Fridays and/or Saturdays.

Post Intensive Follow Up
The end of our intensive there will be specific “take aways” that were identified and worked on in the intensive. These take aways as well as specific strategies will be outlined in a detailed follow up email as any other supports recommended for your particular needs.
Therapeutic follow up varies with couples and recommendations regarding what is best for you is made at the end of the intensive. This could be any one or combination of:
- 1-2 extended follow up sessions with Rachel roughly 4-6 weeks apart
- Transition to a couple’s therapist to continue the work with regular support
- Individual therapy with specific focus that supports the couple work
Next Steps
If you are interested in booking a couple or family intensive, the first step is to schedule a consultation with Rachel. These consultations take 45-60 minutes. It provides an opportunity to share what you’re hoping to get from an intensive, ask questions and ensure that an intensive (and Rachel) is the right fit for you.
Please complete the contact form stating you’re interested in an intensive consultation.
What Our Clients Are Saying
“My husband and I both found the process very helpful and in the months since the intensive there has been only one episode of communication breakdown, but we were able to express ourselves constructively and have a resolution rather than a Band-Aid until the next episode. I have recommended this process to several of my friends. I really appreciate Rachel’s calming nature, especially when you think things are so bad that they cannot be undone. I continue to reflect and process those two days. It was completely worth it, and we were both so happy we found Rachel.”
